Managing Stress

Instructions

When you are feeling stressed, there are lots of things you can do to help improve your sense of well-being. Try this activity to learn about adaptive (beneficial) and maladaptive (dysfunctional) behaviours and strategies.

Instructions - Drag and drop the weights representing different behaviours to see how they could affect your levels of stress. If you think it is an adaptive behaviour drop it on to the green side. If you feel it is maladaptive behaviour drop it on to the red side.

Drag the weights on to either end of the "strong-man’s" barbell and see the affect this might have on your levels of stress. If you think it is an adaptive behaviour drop it on to the green side however if you feel it is maladaptive behaviour drop it on to the red side.
