Opening times
The computer room at the top of the library is open 24/7 all year round. Bring your University Card for access.
Toilet facilities are currently available in Exchange Building opposite.

What if I forget my card?
- Hot food should be eaten in the designated hot food area.
- Please don't leave your belongings unattended, keep them with you at all times.
- Smoking and vaping is prohibited in all university buildings, including libraries.
- University policy prohibits bicycles and scooters being brought into all buildings, including libraries.

What's available in the library?
Facilities and study space
The following services are available in the library:
- 24/7 computer room - the computer room at the top of the library remains open 24/7 throughout the year. Access during unstaffed hours is via the central staircase and lift, you will need your University Card to access the building.
- Assistive technology rooms - these rooms can be booked by students eligible for Enhanced Library Support
- Book returns box - available 24/7 during term time via the book returns box
- Click and Collect
- Games zone - puzzles, games and crafts for you to take a break on your own or with friends
- Headphones (with microphone) - available to borrow for up to three hours. Please ask Library staff at the help desk.
- Help desk - Library staff are available to help with any queries
- Hot food area - place in the library where you can eat hot food.
- Kitchenette - with microwave, boiling-water tap, filtered water tap and sink with cold and hot taps
- Laptop loans - up to 24 hours, please ask Library staff - make sure to login to laptops before taking them off-campus
- Leisure reading collection - selection of leisure reading titles for you to read in the library or borrow
- Print, copy and scan
- Self-service machine - use your University Card to borrow and return books
- Short stay PCs
- Study spaces - individual desks, pods and PCs plus spaces for groups
- Toilets and baby changing facilities - including accessible toilet and gender neutral cubicles

- Prayer room - The nearest Prayer rooms can be found nearby in Xu Yafen Building. Visit the Chaplaincy website for more information.
Djanogly Learning Resource Centre is home to subject resources for the School of Education and the School of Computer Science as well as titles from our leisure reading collection.

Djanogly Learning Resource Centre has:
- door access via level front door and building ramped throughout
- lift to all parts of the building
- accessible unisex WC
- portable hearing loop at the lending desk
- parking for blue badge holders at the rear of the Exchange Building
- Deaf Alerter system installed
- Hearing Loop situated at reception desk, exit desk and lending desk
