Biography

Tania has been a General Practitioner for over twenty years and a teaching fellow for ten years. As an experienced GP she is able to enhance her teaching by including real life examples from her extensive clinical experience. In 2004 she helped to set up the Gedling Conservation Trust with two colleagues. The Trust aims to protect the wildlife of the Netherfield Lagoons, as well as forging links with local schools, via tours and other educational events on the site. In 2013 Tania became a trustee of the Ann Craft Trust, based at the University's School of Social Science. Presently she is vice-chair of this charity that aims to support the statutory, independent and voluntary sectors across the UK, to protect disabled children and adults at risk.
