Research in Lifespan and Population Health
Our research staff have a wide range of clinical and methodological expertise and include statisticians, health economists, specialists in running clinical trials, large database epidemiologists, qualitative methodologists and laboratory scientists, as well as clinicians such as GPs, Psychologists and Clinical Academics in in Dermatology, Gastroenterology, Neonatology, Obstetrics, Public Health, and Respiratory Medicine.
Our research is wide-ranging, and focuses on improving the health and wellbeing of the population.
There are several Centres in the Unit including:
- The Centre for Academic Primary Care, which is also a member of the NIHR School for Primary Care Research, a partnership between nine leading academic centre for primary care research in England;
- The Centre for Evidence Based Dermatology
- The Centre for Perinatal Research
- The Nottingham Centre for Public Health and Epidemiology
- The Nottingham Cystic Fibrosis and Children’s Respiratory Research Centre
