Sarah Alzetani, Pre-registration Pharmacist, and Liz Corteville, Locality Lead Pharmacist from the Medicines Optimisation Team at West Hampshire CCG have produced a poster highlighting their work implementing the PINCER intervention programme.
West Hampshire CCG has been one of the first CCGs in England to achieve 100% PINCER coverage in its (49) practices. This poster showcases the PINCER implementation at the CCG over 2018-19, which included a baseline data collection in March 2018 and a re-run of PINCER in December 2018 for comparative analysis. PINCER is a Pharmacist-lead intervention and this poster highlights that important involvement from Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians.
A more detailed case study on PINCER implementation in West Hampshire CCG can be read online on the PRIMIS website.
Acknowledgements in the development of the poster include: Clare Howard, Wessex Academic Health Science Network; Lauren Fensome, Business Implementation Lead at PRIMIS.
