PhD student,
I did my Bachelor Degree in the Department of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Indonesia, and then continued my master degree in Materials Science Program, University of Tsukuba, Japan. Currently, I am a young faculty member in the Department of Chemical Engineering, UGM who is continuing my PhD study in the Chemical Engineering Program, University of Nottingham by joining Centre for Additive Manufacturing (CfAM) and Division of Regenerative Medicine and Cellular Therapies (RMCT).
I have a background in Chemical Engineering and now focusing on materials science research especially for biomedical applications. I was working in several research projects including scaffolds for tissue engineering using freeze-drying method and particulate leaching method, drug carrier for drug delivery applications using layer by layer film casting, and extraction of active compounds such as curcumin and fucoidan from a natural resource. Now, I am doing research on the use of additive manufacturing for scaffold fabrication for bone tissue engineering.
