Breast Cancer Research Awareness Day
As October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, we decided it is the perfect time for us to hold our Breast Cancer Research Awareness Day.
Come along and listen to acadmics talk about their research, hear some inspirational, brave stories from patients and have a cuppa and chat.
No prior registration is required, just turn up on the day and report to the registration desk in the foyer.
Donations for the Cake Sale will be very welcome.
Please no perishable items and if they are purposefully made to dietary requirements, e.g. gluten free, please provide information so we can label them up.

Transport
Medical School, Queen's Medical Centre, Nottingham
The hospital can be found on the western side of the city of Nottingham. It is situated just on the east side (inside) of the Nottingham Ring Road at its junction with the A52 to Derby. The A52 crosses the M1 at junction 25.
By bus
Plenty of buses run to the QMC from Nottingham, Derby and Loughborough. The L12 service runs from University Park, to QMC, Jubilee and the City Hospital. A Medilink service operates between the two hospitals and the 53 links the City Hospital, Jubilee Campus, QMC/University Park Campus and King's Meadow Campus. From the M1 motorway
Leave the M1 motorway at Junction 25, and take the A52 to Nottingham. Carry on along the A52 past Stapleford, Bramcote and Wollaton Park. Shortly after Wollaton Park you will pass the University on your right hand side and approach a large roundabout. Here you will see Queen's Medical Centre on the right. Turn right at the roundabout and take the first slip road on the left.
