Discovery Days: Civil Rights and America
Delve into American history and explore this fascinating continent.
Pupils take part in role-playing, games and activities with our American and Canadian Studies students. They will learn about the civil rights movement and what it means to us today. Prepare to explore the vast lands of the USA!
Introducing the concept of university and helping children to think about their futures, our outreach officers will run sessions in school, both before and after the Discovery Day.
In partnership with the School of Cultures, Languages and Area Studies.
