Glossary

TermDefinition
Community nurse

Visits and treats a patient in their own home.

Hand sanitiser

A liquid gel or foam generally used to kill viruses/bacteria/micro-organisms on the hands.

Key safe

A strong box situated outside the house and near to the front door. It contains a spare key for entering a house and is usually protected by a keypad code or combination lock.
