"review your original objectives regularly"

Web sites are never finished and launching the first version is just the beginning of the process.

Whether you are working on your own or in a team, the information needs to be checked and updated on a regular basis. Make this part of your regular activity to prevent the web site being an optional extra that you never have time to get around to.

Progress towards the original objectives for the site needs to be regularly reviewed and the objectives themselves might need revising as you learn more about your audience and their needs. In short, you can begin the planning cycle again as a constant review of the site.

You will need to spend some time on making your pages easily findable by search engines so that users are more likely to find your site.

Monitoring web site traffic provides an insight into your users' activity and can help in subsequently site redesigns.
