Research plant science in the Nottingham BBSRC DTP

Plant Science research includes the study of plant biochemistry, physiology, cellular structure, signalling, transport and genetics. This research area encompasses the study of plant interactions with the environment, microbes and soil, and also plant diseases. This may involve whole plant systems or plant cells, and other photosynthetic organisms such as unicellular and multi-cellular green algae, mosses and ferns.
