Transfer equipment

There is an increased use of moving and handling equipment and aids available to you either in clinical areas or in patients’ homes. Your employer has a legal duty to provide and maintain equipment in so far as is reasonably practicable. You as an employee owe a duty to your employer to act with reasonable care and skill and so it is important you use any equipment and aids per instructions.
