Research fellowships
The School of Mathematical Sciences welcomes applications from interested individuals for fellowships.
About fellowships
Fellowships enable post-doctoral researchers to pursue independent research, and are an ideal early step for those who are keen to develop a research career. For further information on research within the School please view our areas of research focus.
How to apply
Applicants for postdoctoral fellowships are advised to contact a member of staff in their research area as soon as possible before applying, and at least a month prior to the submission deadline.
If you are unsure who to contact or would like general advice, please contact the School's Director of Research, Prof Gerardo Adesso, or the School's Director of Knowledge Exchange and Research Development, Prof Silke Weinfurtner, at least a month prior to the submission deadline.
We also welcome applicants for 5-year Fellowships (Assistant Professor Level), Senior Fellowships, as well as ERC Starting, Consolidator and Advanced Grant schemes. If you are interested in applying for these at Nottingham, please contact the School's Director of Research, Prof Gerardo Adesso to discuss your proposal.
