Want to see what's causing the hayfever? Dr Beth Steer collected an airborne sample of pollens at University of Nottingham and found various grasses: elm, pine, sedges and oak - all collected in under a few hours!

Sebastian Pfau has become the first of our EPSRC funded Low-Dimensional Materials & Interfaces Doctoral Training Partnership students to publish a scientific paper. Professor David Briggs - Obituary

It was with great sadness that we announce the loss of our friend and colleague Professor David Briggs. David worked at Nottingham from 2000 to 2006 and set up the SIMS and XPS labs as interdisciplinary services that have now become the nmRC.
