University awarded Silver Hedgehog Friendly Campus status

We’re a Silver level Hedgehog Friendly Campus!  What does that mean?

The university's Hedgehog Friendly Campus Group has been working hard to complete certain initiatives, from surveying for hedgehog activity on campus, to putting hedgehog ramps into ponds, ensuring log piles are left on campus (good hibernation spaces, and they attract insects AKA hedgehog food), to encouraging people to have hedgehog friendly gardens, to name a few!

We’re proud of our accomplishments, and we’ve already got our sights set on gold.

What can you do to help us go for gold?
