2013 Outstanding Paper Award

Congratulations to Christian Wagner, a member of IMA Research Group and Horizon,  who has won the 2013 Outstanding paper award for the best paper published in the IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems journal in 2010. This journal is the leading international journal in that field, and is a highly prestigious award. The journal is entitled "Toward General Type-2 Fuzzy Logic Systems Based on zSlices" which he wrote along with Professor Hani Hagras from University of Essex. The prize will be conferred at next year’s conference in July.

This is in addition to, and completely separate from, the FUZZ-IEEE 2012 best paper award, which Christian also won, for the best paper published at the FUZZ-IEEE 2012 International Conference (which is the leading international conference in that field).
