Accessing practice educator training
All training courses will be entirely virtual. Training will include online interactive material that you will be able to work through within your own time. Mentor training and Introductory FoL (Facilitation of Learning) training will also include live interactive MS Teams meetings. The PebblePad Q&A session is optional.
Please read the following information to ensure that you are aware of the general training expectations.
For the live MS Teams meetings:
- It is recommended you download the free MS Teams app before the session and check it is functioning correctly.
- It is recommended to log on the MS Teams sessions on a computer or laptop with a front-facing camera and microphone (or headset). You will also need a stable internet connection.
- MS Teams allows you the option to blur your background during the meeting.
- Please attend these sessions promptly and be ready to start the session at the stated time.
- The sessions will not be recorded.
- During the session, participants may share personal stories and we ask that you please respect their confidency and privacy.
- Links to the MS Teams meetings will either be provided within the online training platform or sent via a separate email invite, or both.
- To complete the course and obtain your certificate of attendance, you will need to undertake all of the online course and attend the required 'live' webinar/session(s).
- All of the course should be completed within 3 months of registering. If you are unable to complete the course in this timeframe, please contact us.
