Introducing changes to the NRS

The current Nottingham Recognition Scheme will be wound-up after 31st August 2019: no more registrations or submissions will be accepted after our final deadline of 28th August 2019 and this website will be archived. If you are currently awaiting feedback on a claim or are completing minor revisions then you will continue under the old scheme until your final outcome is agreed.
A new Scheme will operate from 1st September 2019 and a new website will be available from then with details for all new candidates on how to register and make a claim. Key enhancements to expect will include:

• Changes to requirement for references: none for Associate Fellow; one for Fellow; and two (no change here) for Senior Fellow.
• New option for Associate Fellow and Fellow to submit by portfolio (via a presentation/Q&A).
• All claims to include comments on impact of recent observation of teaching practice.

We have also introduced more rigorous moderating and quality procedures which will involve candidates receiving an indicative outcome initially after reviewing has been completed, followed by formal confirmation after our twice-yearly Ratification Board has met.
