Swimming pool complex at David Ross set to reopen

In May this year University of Nottingham Sport embarked upon an extensive £1.4 million refurbishment of the swimming pool complex at David Ross Sports Village and we're delighted to announce that the pool complex will reopen from Saturday 6 August, as phase one of the swimming pool upgrades are nearing completion.

University of Nottingham Sport have been recognised for their work at a leading industry awards ceremony this week, celebrating the best innovations and initiatives in Higher Education commercial and campus services. The department took home the awards for Excellence in Sports Experience and Best Digital Marketing Campaign at the 2022 College & University Business Officers (CUBO) Awards Dinner, hosted at Lancaster University last week.

Tin-Tin Ho nominated for TASS Athlete of the Year

Description
University of Nottingham Sport table tennis scholar Tin-Tin Ho has been nominated for the TASS Athlete of the Year award to accompany her selection for Team England at this summers Commonwealth Games. The Athlete of the Year is awarded to a TASS athlete in recognition of their outstanding achievement this year in their sport and/or study.

The European University Games will be held in Lodz, Poland from the 17-31 July and the list of selected athletes released recently by British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) is filled with members of the #GreenandGold.
