Description: After a successful season and finishing top of their league, University of Nottingham Men's Rugby 1st XV had the opportunity to take on league rivals, University of Newcastle, in the Men's Rugby BUCS Vase Trophy at BUCS Big Wednesday. Taking place in a packed-out Highfields, the showcase saw a tough contest between two very competitive teams. The University of Nottingham Men's rugby programme has seen significant development under the leadership of Head Coach Paul Westgate, and the team have enjoyed a wonderful season and are now knocking on the door of BUCS Super Rugby.

Description: Following on from a superb showing at BUCS Nationals, the University of Nottingham Men's Badminton first and second teams looked to round out their year with more BUCS success on home soil at BUCS Big Wednesday. Standing in their way was the University of Warwick 2's in the National Trophy and the University of Loughborough first team in the Championship Cup final.

Description: University of Nottingham's Table Tennis squads have swept the board at the British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) finals, once again asserting their total dominance of the sport in the U.K.The home squad won all four titles up for grabs on in an impressive display on home soil at the BUCs Big Wednesday event. Victories in the Men's and Women's Trophy competitions were swiftly followed by gold medal winning performances in the Men's and Women's Championship finals in front of a loud home crowd at the David Ross Sports Village.
