Exploring the present with Nicola, Trainee Dance Movement Psychotherapist
This session will allow you space and time to explore different creative ways of paying attention to what is going on around you and how you feel. In a busy world, it can be hard to just be and to experience the present moment. By taking a dance movement psychotherapy approach this process of paying attention starts with the body and connecting the mind with the body. This session will include aspects of music, movement, drawing and use of props. No dance experience needed just curiosity. Come and find out what your body is saying to you.
Please make your way up the stairs and take a seat in the waiting area (purple chairs) 10 minutes prior to the event. Your facilitator will come and collect you.
Open to all students - Please email mh-support@nottingham.ac.uk to let us know if you plan to attend this event.
