4,400 bikes and counting
Recent investment in facilities for cyclists brings the total number of cycle parking spaces on campus to over 4,400. The University is continuing to invest in such facilities to keep pace with the increasing number of staff and students cycling to campus.
Over the last year, around £375,000 was spent on:
- additional cycle parking at popular locations
- covers for existing cycle parking
- showers and cycle parking for new buildings
- three cycle parking compounds, accessed by University card
- lockers
- drying cabinets
