Student-led Interdisciplinary Research Conference: LINK ’15
On July 20th 2015, the University of Nottingham will be hosting its very first Student-led Interdisciplinary Research Conference: LINK ’15. An all-day event, the conference will provide a platform to gain insights into the current research subjects carried out at the University of Nottingham and will serve as a premier networking venue for people interested in promoting their research, getting professional feedback, setting up business opportunities, and career development, among a huge variety of opportunities.
The conference will be organised around five main themes, one of which will be Sustainable Society, with three panels discussing subjects such as sustainable food production, waste and recycling, measuring climate change, alternative fuels, and pollution. For SRN members, this offers a fantastic opportunity to see the kind of research being carried out at the University of Nottingham. There will also be a session organised by the SRN research network itself, looking at the benefit of research networks to postgraduate students.
Tickets are currently £7 and include refreshment throughout the day, a buffet-lunch, and a conference pack.
To purchase tickets and for more information please see the LINK ’15 website.
