The University has teamed up with Liftshare to provide a website specifically for staff, which shows you who else is going your way so you can find potential car sharers. Why not take a look during Liftshare Week (5-9 October)?
Liftshare estimate that regular car sharers save on average £80 a month – nearly £1000 per year! It’s also an easy way to reduce your carbon footprint – and you don’t have to do it every day.
Plus, you could win yourself £250! Anyone who sends another member a 'request to share' message between 28 September and 11 October, will be entered into this year's Liftshare Week prize draw to win £250 cash.
The more University staff that have registered a journey, the greater the chance of finding someone to car share with, so it’s worth encouraging your colleagues to join too.
