Following the success of last years’ University of Nottingham wildlife calendar, a 2017 #beastsofUoN calendar will be available this month via the Online store and campus outlets. The limited edition calendar will be available in desk or wall format.
A number of talented photographers from across the University have contributed to the 2017 calendar. Ian Chetwynd, whose work inspired the 2016 University of Nottingham wildlife calendar, contributed photos of a number of rare species on campus. Further contributions were provided from Dr Gabrielle Neher, Associate Professor of Art History and creator of the #beastsofUoN hashtag; Lisa Gilligan-Lee, in-house photographer and manager of the University Image Bank; and Dr. Tom Hartman, who teaches on the MSc Biological Photography and Imaging course.
Images in the calendar include a kestrel (pictured, taken by Ian Chetwynd), ever popular campus squirrels and Canadian Geese, a Little Owl taken at Sutton Bonington, as well as a variety of insect life.
Proceeds from the calendar will again go to the Impact Campaign, in support of a vibrant range of projects changing people’s lives, shaping the future and having global impact.
