Recent storm damage to trees on campus

Sadly, recent storms caused damage to some 40 trees across our campuses. Unfortunately this has meant some trees have been removed – and you’ll have seen this in places such as North Entrance on University Park

There was lots of support for more tree planting when we consulted on the Estate Development Framework in January and February and we’ll be planting even more trees across our campuses and increasing, over time, the tree cover we have on the campuses to enhance biodiversity, create new habitats and create cool spaces on campus for when the sun shines again!
